Evaluation of precautionary measures for COVID-19 in a work environment with multi-criteria decision analysis

Abstract Background In December 2019 in China, the COVID-19 pandemic process began. From this milestone, it is clear relevance of analysis control and prevention measures used to combat disease a work environment. The objective study evaluate main precautionary administrative services, using three techniques multi-criteria decision making. Methods This was conducted four stages. first stage, there characterization an services company as analytical model. second some were defined choices their evaluation criteria. alternatives were: use masks; gel alcohol; handwashing; hygiene workstations bathrooms; individual utensils; physical-social distance; education (training on prevention). criteria reduction probability transmission by contact; practicality behavioral adaptation; monthly cost. third matrix constructed relating selected fourth stage application PROMETHEE I, II ELECTRE III prioritize measures. Results After comparative results applied techniques, possible strongly advise seven chosen: distance education. Conclusions methodology can support decision-making with selection more efficient actions preservation health capacity workers, optimization corporate financial resources.
